OCEL carried out stress analysis, temporary works design and developed procedures for the installation of two offshore loading buoys, Single Point Moorings, and two submarine pipelines, connecting the buoys to shore, close to Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina. The pipelines, one 36″ diameter x 2,940 m long and one 32″ diameter x 4,103 m long were successfully installed by bottom tow. The engineering and the production of all the drawings for this project was carried out in OCEL’s Christchurch office for Stolt Comex Seaway Argentina. The buoys and associated pipelines to load 150,000 tonne tankers replaced an existing export facility.
